Christmas 2008

I left the day after school dismissed for the holidays and flew from Seoul to Atlanta to Pensacola! It was a long but good flight. I was so glad to see my whole family waiting for me as I exited the terminal!

3 of my favorite girls---Rebecca, Erin, and Leigha; Aren't they gorgeous? They met me in Tupelo one day. I had a great time visiting with them and catching up. Thanks, girls, for taking time out of your busy schedules to meet with me! Y'all rock and are such huge encouragements to me! I love and miss you!

I also was able to meet up with Kimberly, Douglasias, and Laurel but unfortunately wasn't thinking to take pictures until about 10 minutes after visiting with them! Sorry guys---I love and miss y'all, too! Thanks for making time for me!

Being home with my sisters, I realized that some people never grow up---us included! We used the rubberband guns that I gave my cousin, dad, and brother-in-law for Christmas (as gag gifts) to put on a small dramatization! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! I probably shouldn't admit to such immature things, but I figure I'm only getting older! I might as well pretend to be young, right?

Gramps with his girls! He's 90 (will be 91 this week), just had hip replacement surgery, but is sharp as a tac! I'm so thankful for him and the time I was able to spend with him over the holidays!

I was able to spend lots of quality time with each family member! I love them all dearly and praise the LORD for the way HE's blessed me through my family! Thanks for a wonderful Christmas break and for your support, Mom-Dad-Hea-KaJo! I love and miss you!

Christmastime in Korea

My Christmas festivities started out with my 6th grade girls' discipleship group. We met for our last time before the new year and celebrated by eating lots of junk food and making cards for the middle school teachers. I am blessed to have such a great group of girls. They are very lively to say the least!

I ended up being the drama coordinator for our 4th and 5th grade Christmas musical! We did the musical Papa Panov. I was so proud of our students and so thankful for the opportunity to meet more kids and their parents through this experience. I was also able to get to know the school's elementary music teacher, Diane, which was an added blessing. She did a great job directing the whole performance! The LORD truly spoke through these precious students, and I believe the good knews of Christ was shared with all in attendance and participation!

We had a staff party the last week of school. Different people cooked chili for a contest, which of course I did not participate in. However, I did eat plenty to be supportive! It was a great way to wind down before the holidays and enjoy fellowship with all the faculty and staff. The faculty and staff at my school are a huge blessing. It is so encouraging to be surrounded daily by people who love and serve the LORD.
